HER MAJESTY

An album recorded in the Covid lockdown of 2020, finally released.

Dean’s background is in songs. Earlier releases from the early 2000’s show where he was headed creatively. Her Majesty’s songs express a pure joy and light in a way that Dean has not shown before with earlier albums often leaning tower a darker sound, exploring the corners.

With Her Majesty - recorded at Deans home studio (called Her Majesty’s pleasure) - he set about documenting his gratitude for being able to finally rest at home as the world shut its doors to the Covid-19 virus. Songs form full-tilt rock to poetic narratives and a global choir (recorded with iPhones or whatever they had to hand) makes Her Majesty a truly spellbinding and glorious journey from a troubling time.
